Tech Gear Recommendations

In my line of work I get approached a lot about what tech is worth it, and what I use. Here is a comprehensive list of what I Recomend.

Windows Laptops

Dell Inspiron 3520 Budget Laptop

This is my recommendation for an entry level laptop. This laptop boasts the minimum I would recommend spec wise, but is also a highly reliable, user friendly setup that will not break the bank. If you're someone that just wants to browse websites, check your e-mail, browse social media, this one will handle all of that without breaking the bank.

Intel Core i3-1215U | 8GB RAM | 256GB SSD | Windows 11

Dell Precision 3470 Medium Budget Laptop

A nice bump from the budget option, this laptop features a more powerful processor, future-proofing amounts of RAM and storage, and the Pro version of Windows 10, which can be upgraded to Windows 11 easily with Windows Update

Intel Core i5-1250P | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | Windows 10 Pro

ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 Gaming Laptop

Ready to take things to the next level? If money is no object, and you're serious about gaming, this is a great place to be. The processor and graphics cards are more than capable of handling today's games, not to mention the gobs of RAM and state of the art WiFi speeds.

13th Gen Intel 14-Core i9-13900H | GeForce RTX 4070 140W | 64GB DDR5 RAM | 1TB PCIe 4.0 | VR Ready | Thunderbolt 4 | WiFi 6 | Win 11 Pro

Apple Laptops

Apple 2024 Macbook Air Entry to Apple

Since Apple ditched the "Macbook", the Air has become the alternative to the simply eye watering Macbook Pro line.

The Macbook Air is marketed as the lighter, more portable yet capable Macbook. The Air still boasts the fantastic M3 chipset, but may be slightly lacking in the RAM and storage department for your needs. This can certainly be fixed by modifying your purchase to reflect your needs.

The Air is only available with the M2 or M3 chip (no Pro or Max version), but you can certainly configure the larger 15 inch model and up the memory and storage up to 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD.

M3 chip | 13.6-inch Liquid Retina Display | 8GB Unified Memory | 256GB SSD

Apple 2023 MacBook Pro No Limit Laptop

I had the absolute pleasure of setting one of these up for a client recently. Aside from the blistering speed, fantastic memory and storage capacity, working with this system felt like driving a fine luxury automobile.

The keyboard was responsive, quiet and simple to use, as was the trackpad. The materials felt clean, smooth and robust and gave the system a very sturdy, solid yet elegant feel. Personally, this would be my laptop if money was no object.

M3 Max chip with 16‑core CPU | 40‑core GPU | 16.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR Display | 48GB Unified Memory | 1 TB SSD Storage
